An exciting Ad Technology company in London is looking for an Data Scientist.

  • Based in London - YOU MUST HAVE THE RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK
  • Hybrid working - 2 days in the office
  • 3 months initially
  • Start date: ASAP
  • £450 - £500pd Outside IR35

The Job

As the Data Scientist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and deploy machine learning models for various computer vision tasks, including image classification, object detection, OCR, and video analysis.
  • Utilise Python, SQL, and ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Keras to preprocess data, train models, and evaluate performance.
  • Leverage Sagemaker for training models and creating interactive notebooks for experimentation and analysis.
  • Apply advanced computer vision techniques to extract meaningful features from images and videos, enhancing data insights and decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable AI solutions.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in computer vision research and incorporate new methodologies and technologies into our workflow.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the organisation.

You

  • At least 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and model development.
  • Extensive experience with machine learning and deep learning techniques, including CNNs, RNNs, and Transformers.
  • Strong familiarity with ML frameworks such as PyTorch (preferred), TensorFlow, and Keras, along with practical experience in model training and optimisation.
  • Hands-on experience with Sagemaker for building and deploying ML models in cloud environments.
  • Solid understanding of computer vision principles and methodologies, with a track record of applying them to real-world problems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
