Senior Social Executive
6 month contract
£27,000 pro rated
Full Time (2 days per week in the London office)

My client are a leading Social Media Agency who are looking for an amazing Account Director to provide day-to-day management of an automotive and travel account. You will cover various account management aspects including pitching new client programmes, delivering existing social campaigns and upselling to existing clients.
The Role

  • Demonstrate deep understanding of client goals and objectives, going beyond project requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong day-to-day relationships with clients as their Account Lead, handling queries and problem-solving.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and proactively pursue new initiatives on the account.
  • Collaborate with the Client Partner to refine internal and external team processes.
  • Support Account Managers and agency teams in client meetings, leading larger strategic discussions and updates.
  • Review and provide feedback on work, including social strategies, insights, creative concepts, and final deliverables.
  • Notify the Client Partner of potential risks to client relationships, working with team leads to resolve issues.
  • Manage and develop Account Managers, providing ongoing industry knowledge and updates to both clients and internal teams.
  • Advocate for the client within the agency, keeping teams focused and motivated on delivering the best results.
  • Partner with the Client Partner to identify and pursue growth opportunities for the client.

You

  • 6 months - 2 years of experience in account management or client-facing project coordination, ideally within a creative setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media and digital trends, with a focus on the impact of organic social media on global brands.
  • Agency experience or similar background is a must.
  • Capable of managing client relationships effectively while delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly and efficiently resolve issues.
  • Able to engage with individuals at all levels, demonstrating professionalism, diplomacy, and discretion.
  • Excellent listening skills are essential.
  • Highly organized with strong time management abilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
