Role Overview:
We're looking for a versatile and detail-oriented Digital Project Manager who can handle a variety of project types. You'll be responsible for managing small-to-medium tech projects (worth £70k-£100k) and also leading the execution of email builds and campaigns. You must be able to wear both hats- ie have experience on the quick-fire campaign side of things, particularly with html email builds and also experience working on end to end website related projects too. In this role, you'll collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure the smooth delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of digital projects, including small-to-medium tech projects (worth £70k-£100k) and email build/campaigns, from initial scoping to final delivery.
- Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing expectations, providing regular updates, and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with creative, technical, and marketing teams to deliver projects that meet both client and user needs.
- Email Campaigns: Oversee the end-to-end process of email marketing campaigns, including design, content, execution, and performance analysis.
- Budget and Timeline Management: Develop project timelines, manage budgets, and ensure that projects are delivered on schedule and within financial constraints.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential project risks and issues, and work proactively with teams to resolve them before they impact the project's success.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects are delivered to the highest quality, meeting both client specifications and best practice standards.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in digital project management, with a proven track record managing small-to-medium tech projects (£70k-£100k) and email builds/campaigns.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of digital technologies, web development processes, and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, or similar).
- Email Marketing Expertise: Experience managing and executing email marketing campaigns, including HTML email builds, segmentation, A/B testing, and analytics.
- Project Management Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Client-Facing Experience: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Tools & Methodologies: Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello) and Agile methodologies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Desirable Skills:
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification).
- Experience working within a digital agency environment.
- Understanding of website analytics, SEO, and digital marketing strategies would be amazing, but is by no means essential.
