The biggest global media network is hiring for a Group Head Media Strategy candidate in Germany.

Sphere have recently partnered with one of the best and most exciting global media agencies in the world. They work with the leading brands and companies worldwide within fashion, beauty, automobile, sports and finance industries.

They are looking to hire a talented and ambitious Group Head Media Strategy who will drive the communications and full-funnel media strategy & planning for one of the biggest advertisers in Germany, alongside managing a team.

The role is based in Germany (multiple cities possible), and is hybrid role. Fluent/Native English & German is a MUST.

Responsibilities:

• Together with your team, you will develop integrated communication strategies and measures for one of the largest and most exciting advertisers in Germany - from strategic planning to operational implementation.
• You have a firm grip on the creation and preparation of analyses, presentations and appointments, as well as the optimization with a view to customer goals. You keep an overview of implementations in all media genres.
• You ensure that our communication always focuses on the consumer and work with our specialists for research and the individual media genres.
• You will be in direct contact with our renowned customer and will advise them empathetically, comprehensively and professionally in order to take their marketing to a new level.
• You take responsibility for a small team of 3-4 employees and ensure their continuous development.

Essential experience:

• You have completed a degree or training in the field of marketing/communications.
• In addition, for your new role you need at least 3 years of experience in national media planning or marketing on the agency or client side and already have some experience in team management.
• But even more important to us than the previous points is that you convince us as a type of person: You are a team player, like working with people and want to make a difference with us.
• You have a talent for organization and in convincingly preparing content and presenting presentations.
• Media is your world: You are keen to develop integrated campaigns for our well-known clients and your ideas always have a premium standard.
