Regulatory Project Manager (French Speaking)

As a Regulatory Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the organisation's compliance with industry regulations and standards. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects that align with the organisation's strategic objective and regulatory requirements. Your expertise in project management methodologies and understanding of regulatory frameworks will ensure the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget and in compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
This position requires to be fluent in French & English.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress in line with project management methodology
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties for flawless execution of projects
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Work as part of the Compliance team to stay abreast of regulatory changes and trends within the industry
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure that all projects comply with the necessary regulations and standards
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including compliance reports and audits
- Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, including team members, management, and external partners
- Engage with and keep up to date with the Project Management team on the status of projects and material issues / blockers.
- Schedule and lead project meetings to report on progress, risks, and solutions
- Build and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Perform risk management analysis to minimize project risks
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field.
- Proven working experience (+5 years) in project management, preferably in a regulatory or compliance project environment.
- Experience of working with multiple new and legacy systems.
- Strong knowledge of and ability to interpret legal and regulatory text into usable operational steps.
- Exceptional presentation skills to all stakeholder (Board, intra group and across a variety functions).
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II Certificate
- Certified Regulatory Compliance - Compliance Institute (LCOI Preferred)
- Fluent English & French required
