The Role
As a Senior Architect, you will design and implement high-performance, scalable technology solutions. Your expertise in AWS, Snowflake, Airflow, and machine learning platforms will be key to optimizing our data infrastructure and supporting our ad technology platforms.
Responsibilities
- Architecture Design: Lead cloud architecture design on AWS for scalability, reliability, and security.
- Technology Automation & Integration: Develop solutions to automate integrations with third-party platform APIs.
- Data Management: Implement and manage data warehousing using Snowflake, optimizing performance and security, particularly for large datasets.
- Workflow Orchestration: Manage ETL pipelines and workflow automation using Apache Airflow.
- Machine Learning: Integrate machine learning platforms to enhance data analytics and predictive modeling.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to define technology strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Best Practices: Establish best practices for cloud architecture, data management, and software development.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends and suggest innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Experience: 7+ years in technology architecture, with a focus on AWS, Snowflake, Airflow, and machine learning platforms. Experience in startups or SMBs is a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong background in programmatic advertising and its challenges.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, ECS, Elastic Beanstalk, etc.).
- Expertise in Snowflake, especially with large datasets (>100TB).
- Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow automation.
- Programming experience in Python and C#.
- Strong knowledge of ETL processes, data management, and machine learning tools.
- Leadership: Proven experience leading teams and technology projects.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a strategic mindset.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Compensation
$140,000-$165,000 salary, based on experience and location, plus equity in an early-stage company.
