My client is a popular renowned news website that's known for its sensational headlines and celebrity gossip. It also covers current events, sports, and lifecycle topics.
The Job
As the SEO Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the SEO & content strategy to increase revenue, traffic and rankings
- Keyword research for new and exiting topics, which generate affiliate or lead gen revenue
- Actioning technical improvements and supporting on technical KPIs and reporting
- Working closely with the SEO Agency - checking project performance
- Providing recommendations on SEO best practices
- Working closely with wider teams ensuring synergy
- Drive traffic to the brand
You
- Must have newsroom experience
- Content and technical SEO experience, but more experience on the content side
- Ability to work on large websites and datasets
- Strong organisational skills
- You have used a range of SEO tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, Data Studio (Looker), Google Search Console and Google Trends
- Happy to work 5 days a week in the office, 9-5
