A skilled Programme Manager is required by one of our best clients to lead a long term digital transformation initiative across various portfolios. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an organization that is shifting towards a digital- and customer-first approach, driving innovative solutions to future-proof the business.

Key Responsibilities

Programme Management:

  • Oversee transformative projects and initiatives across multiple business areas.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive programme plan, detailing milestones and dependencies tailored for various audiences.
  • Monitor programme-level risks and maintain a RAID log, collaborating with project managers to proactively address issues.
  • Manage a team of project managers on large-scale technical projects, supporting business change initiatives.
  • Track and report on programme budgets, ensuring effective management of third-party services and resources.

Transformation Mindset:

  • Work closely with transformation leadership to track benefits and communicate progress toward goals, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Develop a governance framework and lead reporting to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and appropriate detail in communications.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary contact for the transformation leadership team, providing regular updates on programme progress.
  • Simplify technical concepts into actionable plans for diverse stakeholders.
  • Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams, aligning on timelines and milestones while ensuring accountability for deliverables.

Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours:

  • Outcome-driven with a strong grasp of business adoption beyond project deliverables.
  • Strong governance and budget management skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities, adapting language for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven experience managing complex programmes, unifying cross-functional teams for successful outcomes.
  • A problem-solver who enjoys tackling complex challenges and effectively socializing programme results.
  • Keen awareness of project dependencies, with the ability to coordinate across multiple initiatives.
  • Familiarity with technical delivery frameworks (Agile/Scrum), change management, and tools like Azure DevOps and MS Project.
  • Strong leadership skills in dynamic environments with shifting priorities.
  • Proactive mindset, capable of anticipating issues and developing effective solutions.
